Women in Academia

Women in Academia has been a priority area for the Women’s Campaign over the last few years. This year it’s one of our priority campaigns, and the working group for the campaign is run by Beth Smith and Jasmine Hackett.

During Easter Term 2015 the CUSU Women’s Campaign ran a survey of experiences of learning at the University with the aim to see if women and non-binary students felt excluded or disadvantaged within existing teaching structures. The findings of our research and our recommendations to the improve teaching at the University can be read here.
