Domestic Violence

If you have experienced or are experiencing domestic violence, there are lots of places you can seek support. The Women’s Officer is here to support you – contact them here with anything you want to say or ask. They will always listen.

The Student Advice Service is a confidential advice service which will help you explore you options. The Women’s Officer has been trained in giving this advice along with the student advisor, the Welfare Officer and Education Officer.

The national domestic violence charity that helps 250,000 women and children every year.

Refuge offers women who are experiencing domestic violence a space to take refuge in.

Southall Black Sisters
An organisation set up in 1979 to challenge domestic and gender violence against black and minority ethnic women.

Apna Haq
Apna Haq provides confidential, one to one support for Asian women and their children who are experiencing violence in the home.
